Boyzone star doing his bit for charity
Thursday, 18 June 2009
Ronan Keating has created his own special set of stamps for the Royal Mail to mark Father’s Day.
The Boyzone star has used a photo of his children – Jack, 10, Ali, 3, and Marie, 8 – as the image for his design.
The limited edition Smilers stamps – which have been signed by Ronan – are being auctioned on eBay to raise money for children’s charity Barnardo’s.
‘I’m really glad to be involved in such a positive initiative, and be able to support a fantastic cause,’ Ronan, 32, tells Now Online.
‘The image that I have chosen means the world to me as a father, and I am pleased that my photography can be used in a way that benefits others.’
The auction will close on Father’s Day, 21 June, at midnight.
