Sean Penn has shelved plans to star in two movies.
He has pulled out of The Three Stooges and Cartel, his rep confirms.
The star, 48, withdrew a petition to divorce his wife of 13 years, actress Robin Wright-Penn, 43, last month.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he wants to concentrate on family matters.
Sean has already wrapped filming on The Tree of Life and Fair Game - which are yet to be released.
