Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donate $1m to Pakistan refugees

Couple want to help end humanitarian crisis

Angelina Jolie has just finished a four-month shoot for the thriller Salt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have donated cash to help displaced people in Pakistan.

The couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation gave $1million to the UN Refugee Agency. 

Angelina, 34, has worked with the UN for eight years.

She is due to talk at a World Refugee Day event in Washington DC today. 

Last week, the couple gave St John's Hospital - in Brad's hometown of Springfield, Missouri - $1million to support a cancer treatment unit for kids.
