Leona Lewis is apparently close to buying a £1milllion converted barn.

The X Factor 2006 winner is said to have fallen in love with the Hertfordshire property.

‘She is keen to buy herself a nice country home rather than purchase anywhere in town,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘She’s spotted a converted barn, which she loves.

'It would be ideal as it’s still close enough for her to commute into London for work and to see her family, yet it’s private enough for her to have some time to herself.

‘She wants to be able to enjoy some time away from the spotlight and do normal things like pop out to the shops for a pint of milk.’

Leona, 24, and boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa splashed out on a £120,000 flat in her native Hackney, east London, last year.
