David and Victoria Beckham get apology from former nanny

Abbie Gibson is sorry for giving tabloid interview

David and Victoria Beckham and their three children are based in LA

David and Victoria Beckham have won a High Court apology from their former nanny.

The couple launched legal action against Abbie Gibson for discussing their personal lives with a tabloid in April 2005.
 
‘[Ms Gibson] now accepts that she should not have breached her duties of confidence to David and Victoria Beckham and their children by speaking to the News Of The World,’ says their lawyer Gerrard Tyrrell.

‘Ms Gibson has also agreed to the withdrawal of her claim for constructive dismissal that she made against the claimants which was issued in the Employment Tribunal in August 2005.

‘She has unconditionally apologised to David and Victoria Beckham and their family for breaching her duties of confidence.’

Abbie worked for David, 34, and Victoria, 36, between May 2003 and March 2005.
