Socialite denies she's dating the footballer

Paris Hilton has played down rumours of a romance with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The socialite was snapped cosying up to the footballer at an LA nightclub last week.

And he was later seen arriving at her sister Nicky’s house in the early hours.

But Paris, 28, insists nothing went on between them.

‘We’re just friends,’ she says.

Days before, Paris ended her six-month relationship with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, 23.

‘Doug is very sweet,’ she tells TMZ. ‘I have nothing further to say about him, he’s very sweet.’
