UPDATE Killers jailed for life over murder of ex-EastEnders star's brother
Three men have been given life sentences for murdering the brother of former EastEnders star Brooke Kinsella.
Ben Kinsella, 16, died after being stabbed 11 times in the chest shoulder and heart following a night out at the Shillibeers bar in Islington in June 2008.
He died in the arms of his friend Louis Robson, 16, the son of Birds Of A Feather actress Linda Robson.
Juress Kika, 19, Jade Braithwaite, 18, and Michael Alleyne, 20, who denied the charges, have been ordered to serve a minimum of 19 years in prison.
‘The people who murdered him knew nothing about our Ben, not a hair on his head, a bone in his body, not anything about our wonderful son,’ said Ben’s mum Deborah.
‘They had never met him before or spoken to him, they just cruelly took his life away with knives for no apparent reason.
‘We had brought Ben up to always walk away from trouble, this sadly cost him his life.
'He walked away to get safely home and they took advantage of that - he was one boy on his own.’
