Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston have apparently broken up.

The couple, who have been dating for nine months, are thought to have split on Sunday.

Hannah Montana star Miley, 16, has been blogging on Twitter about being apart from Justin.

‘I hope I’m dreamin’ coz I’m sick of this feeling,’ she wrote. ‘Why does saying gooddbye hurt so much?’

Model Justin Tweeted: 'How many tears are in there? They've gotta run out soon, right?'

Miley, who is filming The Last Song in Savannah, used to date Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas.
