Quentin Tarantino talked him into playing Lieutenant Aldo Raine
Wednesday, 10 June 2009
Brad Pitt can’t remember agreeing to star in Inglourious Basterds.
The actor, 46, met up with director Quentin Tarantino to discuss the script last summer.
‘We talked about movies until the wee hours of the night,' he told a press conference.
'And I got up the next morning and saw five empty bottles of wine lying on the floor and something that resembled a smoking apparatus. I don’t know what that was about.
‘Apparently I agreed to do the movie because six weeks later I was in uniform and became Lieutenant Aldo Raine, so go figure!’
