Matt Lucas believes seeing a therapist can be very beneficial.
The Little Britain star was left devastated when his dad died from a heart attack at the age of 56.
‘There was a period, about the age of 25, when I became very depressed,’ says Matt. ‘I was dealing with bereavement, I was dealing with fame and I was dealing with trying to express myself and be gay and have relationships.’
Matt, now 35, says talking through his problems helped him move on.
‘I saw a therapist regularly for 3 years,’ he tells The Times Magazine. ‘It was an overwhelmingly positive experience.’
