Angelina Jolie's LA dash to keep Jennifer Aniston from Brad Pitt

Brad's secret LA reunion with Jen has been thwarted by a jealous Ange

Angelina Jolie doesn't want to raise 6 kids by herself

Angelina Jolie is furious that Brad Pitt has remained in close contact with Jennifer Aniston and has dramatically changed her plans to head to their villa in Aix-en-Provence, France, with their six kids after she finished filming Salt this week.

Instead, Ange, 34, will fly to LA to be with Brad, who’s there to start filming his latest movie Moneyball next week. Ange is so paranoid that her partner plans to secretly meet with Jen, 40 – as Now magazine revealed last week – that she wants to be by his side and constantly monitor his movements.

A source says: ‘Although Brad remains cold towards Ange and is totally disillusioned with the relationship, she’s had a dramatic change of heart and is suddenly telling friends that she wants to make things work again.

‘She’s freaked out by the idea of raising 6 kids alone and hates the thought of Brad with another woman. She’d rather die than see him back with Jen.’

Angelina’s feeling very fragile at the moment because she had to spend 48 hours in bed last week after bumping her head while performing a stunt on the set of Salt.

But Ange isn’t the only one nursing her wounds: Jen isn’t happy with Brad, 45, either. She’s complained to friends that she finds it difficult to see a future with him while he continues to whine about Angelina.

Our source says: ‘Jen’s told Brad point blank that he needs to stop complaining about Angelina and just leave her. She feels more like an agony aunt each time they speak.’

Reports Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston had an ‘intimate 1am rendezvous’ at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York have been denied.
