Cheryl Cole: Ashley was scared of proposing

Footballer was worried she'd turn him down

Cheryl Cole showed off her huge rock when she appeared on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross

Cheryl Cole has spoken out about the moment her husband Ashley got down on one knee.

The Girls Aloud star married the Chelsea footballer three years ago after he proposed in Dubai.

‘He was actually really scared asking me,’ she reveals.

‘At the end of the day, you may know that someone loves you, but there’s never a guarantee what the answer is going to be to that question! So yeah, he was really nervous!’

Cheryl, 25, admits she rejected Ashley, 28, when he first asked her out.

‘I wasn’t interested at that moment in time,’ she tells OK! ‘I’d been seeing a couple of people on and off, though I was just looking to go out, be single have a look round – but that’s normally when it happens isn’t it?'
