Sunday, 14 June 2009
Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali has written an autobiography – despite only being aged 9.
In the book, the actress opens up about growing up in poverty and her role in the Oscar-winning movie.
‘Everyone will get to see my friends, my family and what I have been doing since Slumdog Millionaire changed my life,’ she says.
All royalties will go to Rubina and charity Medecins du Monde.
Slumgirl Dreaming: My Journey To The Stars, to be published by Transworld, will hit shelves on 16 July.
