Peaches Geldof is divorcing husband Max Drummey

Peaches Geldof has transformed her image with a mangled bob.

The socialite had her famous blonde locks chopped in homage to her idol Madonna, 50.

Peaches, 20, unveiled her new barnet – based on Madge’s look in 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan - in New York yesterday.

'Desperately seeking Peaches? My new hair cut/colour,’ she writes on her Twitter. ‘What do you think of it? I'm thinking it's pretty 80s.'

Peaches was followed by a camera crew as she debuted the hairdo.
