Susan Boyle invited to sing for President Barack Obama

Britain’s Got Talent star could visit the White House

Barack Obama was beaten by dance group Diversity in the Britain's Got Talent final

Susan Boyle has been asked to perform for the US president, according to her brother.

John Boyle, 59, says the Britain's Got Talent star has been invited to the White House for the 4 July celebrations being held by Barack Obama.

‘As you can see, her dream is still very much alive,' says John. 'In fact, it's only just starting.’

Susan, 48, checked into The Priory on Sunday for exhaustion and John thinks meeting Barack, 47, will be the incentive she needs to get back on track.

‘She's been battered non-stop for the last seven weeks and it has taken its toll,’ he tells the Daily Record. ‘But she'll be looking forward now to the Fourth of July.’

In May, Susan had to turn down an invitation to attend a dinner at the White House because she was too busy with preparations for the show.
