Ofcom is not launching a probe into Susan Boyle’s treatment on Britain's Got Talent.

Almost 350 people complained to the media watchdog about the show last week.

But less than 20 were concerned about the singer, 48, who has since entered the Priory.

Ofcom says it had 50 complaints about the welfare of Hollie Steel, 10.

The young singer burst into tears during her first attempt at Edelweiss.

'With Britain's Got Talent, we are reviewing the complaints we have received against the Broadcasting Code,' says Ofcom.

'As with all such cases, our assessment will help us to decide whether we need to investigate or not, however at present we are not investigating.'
