Fern Britton: Feeding my pigs is more important than my image

This Morning star just wants to feel comfortable

Fern Britton has lost 5 stone since having her gastric band op

Fern Britton isn’t too bothered about her image.

The This Morning presenter, 51, insists she has more important things to worry about.

‘Whether something I wear costs £20 or £2,000 really wouldn't bother me as long it is comfortable and I felt good in it,’ Fern tells Good Housekeeping magazine.

'At the end of the day, what I look like isn't the most important thing in the world.

'What makes me happy is being in my home, feeding my pigs and hens, picking the kids up from school or just sitting in the garden.'

In 2006, Fern was fitted with a gastric band which has since helped her to lose 5st.
