Sky Sports presenter says romance is going well

Georgie Thompson is the first serious girlfriend Declan Donnelly's had in six years

Georgie Thompson has spoken for the first time about her relationship with Declan Donnelly.

The Sky Sports presenter was introduced to the TV host in January by pal Kirsty Gallagher.

And Georgie, 31, admits their mutual love of football drew them together.

‘Things are going really, really well. We are very happy together,’ she tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘People are drawn to each other for all different reasons and it’s great that football is something me and my boyfriend have in common.

'We haven’t been to a football match together yet but it’s definitely on the to-do list when the new season starts.’

Dec, 33, split from Dancing On Ice star Clare Buckfield in 2003.
