Dance group members have to hit the books again

Diversity's Ashley Banjo wants to be a scientist

Britain's Got Talent winners Diversity will return to school this week after their shock victory on the ITV show.

Youngest members Perri Kiely and Mitchell Craske, both 13, will go back to class, along with Jordan Banjo, 16, who is preparing for his GCSEs.

And choreographer Ashley Banjo, 20, insists he’s not going to give up his studies now the 11-strong group have hit the big time.

'My education matters to me,' he tells the Daily Mail 'I want to get my degree under my belt.

'It's vital to have something to fall back on because nobody knows what the future holds.

‘I'm not going to be spinning on my head when I'm 50, but as a qualified scientist I can always earn a living.’
