Twilight wins five gongs at MTV Movie Awards

Robert Pattinson claims Best Breakthrough Performance

Robert Pattinson won Best Breakthrough performance at MTV Movie Awards

Vampire movie Twilight was the big winner at the MTV Movie Awards last night.

The film scooped five gongs, including Best Movie and Best Fight.

Kristen Stewart won Best Actress and Robert Pattinson clinched Best Breakthrough Performance.

The pair also shared the Best Kiss trophy.

Heath Ledger was named Best Villain for his role as The Joker in Batman flick The Dark Knight.

Zac Efron bagged Best Male Performance for High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

And Jim Carrey won Best Comedic Performance for Yes Man.
