Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have no plans to marry

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden don’t want to be told the sex of their baby.

The socialite sparked rumours she was having a boy when she was spotted buying blue clothes.

But Nicole, 27, says they have no plans to find out.

‘We want the surprise,’ she tells chat show host Larry King. ‘What is there really to plan? I'll get the clothes after.’

Nicole and Joel, 30, are already parents to 16-month-old daughter Harlow.
