Saturdays' Frankie: I love Dougie Poynter

The pair have been an item for 7 months

Frankie Sandford found each other again last year

Popstar Frankie Sandford has revealed that she and McFly hotty Dougie Poynter are in love.

‘I’ve had one boyfriend before, but Dougie is my first love,’ she reveals. ‘We’ve been together 7 months and are totally loved up.

‘I don’t care about all the girls who go for him – he’s gorgeous! But he’s mine and I trust him.’

Frankie, 20, first met Dougie, 21, when she was in teen-band S Club Juniors, who disbanded in 2005. But they didn’t start to date until last year when Frankie returned to the charts with girl band The Saturdays.

‘Dougie started saying he fancied me in interviews,’ Frankie tells Fabulous Magazine. ‘Then last year when we performed at G-A-Y nightclub McFly were also there.’

It wasn’t long before the pair were an item.

‘I’m used to guys being cocky,’ says Frankie. ‘But I loved the way Dougie was shy and so genuine.’
