Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have nothing to say to each other

The couple's cosy show at Cannes was to hide their real problems...

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s lovey-dovey show on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival was meant to put an end to rumours their relationship was falling apart.

But we can reveal that behind their very public kisses and cuddles, Angelina had to use all her acting skills as she attended Cannes through gritted teeth.

Ange is still livid that Brad had secret meetings with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston behind her back, while he’s sick of putting up with his lover’s mood swings and erratic behaviour.

It was their first public display together in 3 months, yet it lasted little more than 48 hours before they jetted off to separate locations and continued living apart.

Angelina flew back to New York to finish filming her new movie Salt, while Brad is continuing the promotional trail for Quentin Tarantino’s new flick Inglourious Basterds.

‘Their body language was terrible,’ says a guest at the premiere last Wednesday. ‘They put on a show for the cameras, but had nothing to say to each other and Ange didn’t want to be there.’

Now has learnt that, in a bid to dispel widespread break-up rumours, Brad, 45, and Ange, 33, tipped off the paparazzi 
the previous evening, when they were snapped kissing 
in a secluded street after a supposedly romantic dinner.

‘It was a stunt,’ our source says. ‘Brad made sure the photographers were in the right place at the right time. He and Ange are brilliant actors, which is how they pull off these public appearances. But the sad reality is they don’t enjoy spending time with each other. Their relationship is a total disaster.'
