WAG leaves hospital on crutches
Wednesday, 27 May 2009
Danielle Lloyd has left the Wellington Hospital in London on crutches.
The WAG had to have 20 stitches in a wound on her back and also underwent emergency surgery on her leg after being injured by glass at the Crystal nightclub on Saturday.
'She is very lucky that the major blood vessels and arteries were not involved, otherwise she would have been left permanently paralysed,’ her consultant Mr Elliot Sorene said yesterday.
'I have advised Miss Lloyd to rest at home for two weeks, before embarking on several months of intense physiotherapy.’
Danielle, 25, is now at home being nursed by footballer boyfriend Jamie O'Hara, 22.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman has confirmed that two women were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm before being bailed until July.
