Simon Cowell has high hopes for Susan Boyle

Simon Cowell has rubbished rumours Susan Boyle is planning to quit Britain's Got Talent.

The singer, dubbed The Hairy Angel, is said to have been advised to tear up the contract she signed when she entered the show.

But Simon, 49, has faith she'll stick with him to manage her career.

'I don't think she's got any intention of doing it,' he tells the Sunday People.

'To leave the show is the most ludicrous advice I've ever heard.

'She would never have gone through with it. She would be letting down the whole of Scotland and all those people she represents by bowing out of the competition.'

Susan, 48, was voted into the final of the ITV series on Sunday night.
