Couple want to get work commitments out of the way
Tuesday, 26 May 2009
Brian McFadden and fiancée Delta Goodrem are postponing their wedding.
The couple had planned to tie the knot this year in Sydney, but their work commitments mean they won’t have enough time.
‘We were sitting down to try to organise the wedding and we were thinking: “We're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas”,’ Brian, 29, tells The Sunday Telegraph.
‘I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back.
‘But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon - not get married between gigs.'’
Brian and Delta, 24, have been together since 2004.
The former Westlife star is dad to Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 6, with ex-wife Kerry Katona, 28.
