Duffy is in the running to sing the next James Bond soundtrack.
EON film boss Michael G Wilson approached the singer at the Ivor Novello Awards at the London’s Grosvenor House Hotel last night.
‘I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune,’ he says. ‘I think she is wonderful. Amy Winehouse would be good too.
‘We have started work on the new film, which I can’t say anything about. Daniel Craig is very keen to get going.’
Duffy, 24, who won the PRS Most Performed Work gong for Mercy at the music event, also revealed that she’s to make her acting debut.
‘I’m making a movie,’ she tells The Sun. ‘It’ll probably be rubbish.’
