The band won the main prize for Best Song Musically And Lyrically for One Day Like This and their single Grounds For Divorce was named Best Contemporary Song.
‘It's a great honour against fierce opposition,’ said frontman Guy Garvey, 35.
Duffy, 24, who bagged 3 Brits in February, collected yet another award for her No 1 single Mercy, which was named the Best Most Performed Work.
Other winners included The Ting Tings for Best Album and Coldplay for Best-selling British Song.
