Singer has learned to shrug off criticism

Beyoncé Knowles admits the year 2000 was tough for Destiny’s Child’s - with two of the original line-up leaving.
But the 27-year-old insists claims on web forums that she was severely depressed are just not true.
‘People think that I had a breakdown,’ she says. ‘That’s a little dramatic. But it was a really difficult moment. They kind of blamed everything on me. It was so devastating.’
Beyoncé has now bounced back and reckons it helped make her stronger.
‘That’s when I realised that it was just entertainment. It was the best lesson for me,’ she tells Culture magazine.
‘There’s nothing you can do about it. It is a harsh reality, because the blogs can be really positive, but there’s a way higher percentage of just complete bull.’
