Ref confirms the couple intend to marry

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are ready to settle down

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are engaged.

The couple got together in 2007 but split in 2008 before reuniting.

'I work six days a week, 15 hours a day - and that's not a joke,' said Miranda last year.

'I'm generally in two different countries a week. And anyone else who had my schedule would probably fall apart. To be honest with you, it's really, really intense.'

It was rumoured Orlando, 32, had proposed to Miranda, 26, in May 2009 after the Victoria's Secret lingerie model was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger.

But no official confirmation followed.

In November 2008, the couple also denied rumours they were to tie the knot. 

Now at last the rumours are true.
