Slumdog Millionaire child star Rubina Ali is looking for somewhere to sleep

Another Slumdog Millionaire child star has been left homeless.

Rubina Ali's house was demolished yesterday by Mumbai authorities because it was in the way of a planned pedestrian overpass.

‘I'm feeling bad,' the 9-year-old tells The Associated Press. 'I'm thinking about where to sleep.'

Her stepmum Munni Qureshi claims they weren't told about the demolition.

'How can the police barge in anytime without giving us notice,' she said.

Rubina's father Rafiq Qureshi was later snapped with his right arm in a sling after he was reportedly beaten by police for resisting the demolition. 

Last week, co-star Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail's home was razed after authorities alleged he and his family were illegally squatting on government land.
