Farrah Fawcett 'cried during her cancer documentary'

Pals say she found it tough

Farrah Fawcett starred in Charlie’s Angels

Farrah Fawcett struggled to control her emotions as she watched her self-made documentay earlier this month.

Nine million viewers tuned in to watch Farrah’s Story, an emotional video diary which tracks her battle against cancer.

‘She cried a few times. It was very emotional for her,’ pal Alana Stewart told NBC's Today Show. ‘It's been a very, very long journey, you know, and going back through it was probably a bit painful.’

Farrah’s partner Ryan O'Neal said she had a low pulse when she began watching the programme, but it ‘kept going up and up’ as she continued to tune in.

Farrah's story aired in the US on 15 May.
