She's still calling Chris Brown, even after he's blamed for leaking intimate pics of her

Rihanna was confronted with her worst nightmare last week.
Intimate pictures she’d taken of herself with her ex Chris Brown appeared splashed all over the internet, humiliating Rihanna and causing friends to fear it might just tip her over the edge.
‘Just as she was learning to be in public again and building up her confidence to tour, the pictures broke,’ a friend of Rihanna tells Now. ‘It’s hardly a happy time. She’s under immense pressure.’
While speculation mounts that the only person who would’ve had access to the pictures is Chris, Rihanna won't hear of it. She's refusing to cut her ties with her ex - and sees him as someone to turn to in tough times.
'She misses him when things get hard because she sees him as her protector,' the friend says. 'It's ironic that this guy who hurt her is viewed as her protector. But that's how it is.'
As much as friends and family have tried to prevent it, Rihanna’s still been chatting to Chris on the phone.
‘It’s part of the sickness she has to work through,’ the friend adds. ‘She has to realise that all the drama in their relationship isn’t love, that she has other people in her life who love and care about her and that she will love other men who’ll never raise a finger to her.’
Some believe that the camera phone pictures of Rihanna naked in a mirror – some which appear to have Chris in the background – could only have been leaked by Chris.
But he released a furious statement denying it last week.
‘If he was angry that Rihanna hasn’t publicly forgiven him, being blamed for the leak has made him look even worse,’ another source says. ‘
Chris wanted Rihanna to be seen to forgive him, while she wants to make sure she doesn’t have to testify in court. Chris has reassured her that she won’t have to, but he’s failed to accept settlement offers that include time in jail.’
