Cheryl Cole tops best friend survey

Girls Aloud star beats Jennifer Aniston

Cheryl Cole is the Nation's Sweetheart

Cheryl Cole is the celebrity that most Brits would like to have as their best friend, according to a new poll.

The Girls Aloud star, 25, pipped Jennifer Aniston, 40, to the title.

US First Lady Michelle Obama came in third, while Davina McCall, 41, took fourth place.

Kerry Katona, 28, was the least popular celeb in the poll.

She was closely followed by Sienna Miller, 27, and Agyness Deyn, 26.

The survey was commissioned by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to celebrate the release of Bride Wars on DVD and Blu-ray from 18 May 2009.
