Vinnie Jones has been found not guilty of assaulting a man during a bar brawl in South Dakota last year.
The actor had been charged with simple assault in December for allegedly punching Juan Trevino-Barrera 3 times in the head.
But Vinnie, 44, was cleared of all counts by a South Dakota court on Friday after successfully arguing that he was acting in self defence.
‘I am just jubilant,’ says Vinnie. ‘The justice
system are on top of their game. I think people were surprised I took the stand but I just wanted to tell the truth.’
The incident occured, the former soccer player told the court, after he was attacked with a glass by another customer when he tried to join a game of pool.
Vinnie was left with his nose 'hanging off' and then hit on the head with a bottle.
