Jade Ewen came in a respectable fifth place at the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night.
The singer sang It’s My Time, a track penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, at the annual music event in Moscow.
Her result was the UK’s best finish since 2002.
‘I’m disappointed but I was delighted with my performance, and to have Andrew on stage and supporting me so much,’ says Jade, 21.
She is now planning to work with Sir Andrew, 61, on her debut album, which is due for release in December.
‘Jade performed brilliantly, as I knew she would,’ he tells The Sun.
Norway won the Eurovision Song Contest with 387 points.
