Natalie Portman: I haven't been 'making out' with Sean Penn

Actress sets the record straight

Natalie Portman is currently single

Natalie Portman has hit back at reports she’s grown close to Sean Penn.

US reports claimed the couple were ‘making out’ at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel in March.

But Natalie, 27, who split from ex Devendra Banhart in September, has set the record straight.

‘Sean Penn is a friend and colleague,’ she tells Us Weekly.

‘The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue. I normally do not respond to rumours about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.’

Last month, Sean, 48, filed for legal separation from his wife of 13 years, Robin Wright Penn.
