SHOCK! Slumdog Millionaire star's home demolished

Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail is now homeless

Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail played the younger version of one of the lead characters

The home belonging to one of the child stars of Slumdog Millionaire has been knocked down.

Mumbai authorities claim Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail was illegally squatting on government land.

‘We are homeless, we have nowhere to go,’ says the ten-year-old.

Azharuddin’s mum Shamim Ismail claims they weren't told about the demolition.

‘Our house has been broken down by officials,’ she tells the BBC.

‘We have not been given any alternate accommodation.'
