Singer likes to keep tidy

Alesha Dixon needs structure in her life

Alesha Dixon has revealed that she has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2007 winner is fixated with keeping her home tidy.

‘I have OCD,' says Alesha, 30. 'My friends call me Monica, because she’s the one in Friends who’s obsessed with cleaning.

‘I always think the house looks messy; a messy house can depress me. If my house is clean and everything is in order, I feel better.’

Alesha’s condition even means her day has to be structured beforehand.

‘Every minute of my day is accounted for, which I know is strange,’ she tells Weekend Magazine.

‘Even as a child, I would schedule out a whole day’s plan in my diary. I like my life really structured. I like to know I have a schedule mapped out.’
