Former model excited about opening her veggie restaurant
Sunday, 31 May 2009
Heather Mills reckons her new vegan restaurant will appeal to meat-eaters too.
The former model is planning to launch the V-Bites eatery in Hove, East Sussex, in July.
Heather, 41, has been working hard on the menu to get it just right.
'What is definitely going to shock people is the meat replacements,’ she tells Metro. ‘They have a real meat taste to them.’
Heather also plans to build an ice rink outside the diner.

Why would a vegetarian want to eat something that tastes like meat? That would be disgusting. She is an idiot.
I agree with Marie - I think making veggie/vegan food taste like meat goes against some of (but no, not all) the principles behind removing animal products from a diet. Second of all, I disagree with Heather Mills' shirt that "you can't get greener" than being a vegan...if she had read any science articles at all, she would realize that keeping domesticated animals around is one of the best ways to help plants fix nitrogen and to maintain a healthy ecosystem. Make no mistake, I'm not coming out in favor of factory-farming but the world needs balance.
