Philip Taylor failed to sell anything during his final task on the BBC show

The Apprentice star Philip Taylor has confirmed he's dating fellow contestant Kate Walsh.

The estate agent made the admission after the pair were snapped strolling through London hand in hand.

‘We’re very close and get on very well,’ Philip, 29, tells the Daily Mirror.

‘There might be a romantic element in it. I’m a hopeless romantic and once we got involved, that was it.

'Maybe we should have waited until the show was done and dusted, but life’s too short.’

Kate, 27, and Phil’s outing was their first public appearance together off-screen.

'They were holding hands and looking adoringly at one another like any other young couple in love,' says an onlooker.

Philip was fired by Sir Alan Sugar, 62, after team leader Lorraine Tighe claimed his close friendship with Kate had affected his ability.
