Jennifer Hudson has proposed to fiancé David Otunga – five months after he got down on one knee.
The American Idol singer presented him with a personally designed Neil Lane engagement ring on his 29th birthday.
‘Jennifer wanted to give him something really special when she asked David to marry her,’ says Neil.
‘Jennifer and I went through lots of different designs, talked about it a lot and she was very open.
'It was very sentimental and romantic. They are really in love.’
Jennifer, 27, and David are yet to set a date for the wedding.
