24 star is questioned by police over alleged head-butting

Kiefer Sutherland has been charged with assault, New York police confirm.
The 24 actor was questioned by officers yesterday over claims he head-butted designer Jack McCollough.
The alleged incident's said to have happened at a Manhattan nightclub early Tuesday morning.
Kiefer, 42, served 48 days in jail for a drink driving conviction in California last year.
Prosecutors will now assess whether the new charge will affect his probation status, confirmed a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney.
