Actor is willing to take a lie detector test for his pal

George Clooney has come to the defence of Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber after he was accused of sexual harassment.
Shelly Scott and Gillian Walker claim the businessman fired them from San Diego’s Moonstone Lounge when they rejected his alleged advances.
In papers filed at San Diego County Superior Court in March, Shelly accuses Rande, 47, of attempting to kiss her and trying to put his hand up her dress in September 2008.
But a statement from George, 48, reads: 'I was with Rande the entire night — as were a lot of people - they will all say the same thing that I’m saying. This event never happened. Period.'
Geoge is even prepared to take a lie detector test.
'Multiple witnesses, including George Clooney, the bar managers, waitresses and others, will testify that they were with Mr Gerber for the short time period in question and that Mr Gerber never kissed or touched any waitress,' reads a statement from Rande's company.
'Mr Gerber and Mr Clooney are willing to take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr Gerber are false.'
Rande's rep adds: ‘These allegations were previously investigated and shown to be baseless. This lawsuit has no merit.’
Shelly and Gillian are seeking unspecified damages.
