Star was hospitalised with suspected food poisoning
Tuesday, 5 May 2009
David Hasselhoff has dismissed claims he was treated for alcohol poisoning on Saturday night.
The Baywatch hunk was reportedly found unconscious at his home in California by his 16-year-old daughter Hayley.
It's thought she asked her mum Pamela Bach, who lives ten minutes away, to drive him to hospital.
Lawyers for David say he suffered from possible food poisoning and only had a ‘very slight’ amount of alcohol in his system.
‘Mr Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories,’ Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine say in a statement.
‘Mr Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday and was absolutely fine.
'He is both disturbed and saddened by the fact that a certain individual is disseminating grossly inaccurate stories about him to the press for ulterior motives.’
David, 56, was released from hospital the next day.
