EXCLUSIVE Jennifer Ellison: I don’t want to rush into getting married

Actress wants time to plan it

Jennifer Ellison and Rob Tickle got together last year

Jennifer Ellison and fiancé Rob Tickle are happy to have a long engagement.

The former Brookside actress postponed plans to get married this year because of work commitments.

But she doesn't mind waiting.

‘We’re looking at spring/summer next year,’ she tells Now Online.

‘Because it’s so special to both of us, we want to give it our 100 per cent attention. We don’t just want to throw it together.

'It’s going to be the most special day of my life. It’s not something I want to rush into.’

Jennifer, 25, says she and Rob's relationship is still in the early getting-to-know-you phase.

‘We’ve only just had our 1-year anniversary, so we've only really just got together,’ she says.

‘To celebrate we had a champagne breakfast and Rob cooked, then we went for a lovely lunch and a walk.’
