Alex Curran has 2 daughters with husband Steven Gerrard

Alex Curran has admitted that she used to overindulge on McDonald’s.

The WAG used to get stuck into lots of stodge while daughters Lilly, 5, and Lexie, 2, were at school.

'I'd have sausages on toast for breakfast, or bacon. Then for lunch, I'd go out with my mates,’ explains Alex.

‘Quite often we'd have Chinese. Or I'd have a big sandwich with chips.

'I used to eat McDonald's all the time because whenever I was on my way to Liverpool, I used to stop and get one. I reckon I'd probably have about three McDonald's a week.'

Alex, 26, didn’t realise she’d put on weight until she was snapped on holiday last year.

‘When I look back I think, “Oh My God. Did I really used to eat that?”’ she admits.

‘Last year, a pap took some pics of me and I had a few rolls. The papers were quite mean and I realised I didn’t want to worry about that while I was on holiday.’

Alex, who has now dropped a dress size, is married to Liverpool FC player Steven Gerrard, 28.
