Lily Allen: I’ve taken a vow of celibacy

Singer thinks it will help her be more creative

Lily Allen is currently single

Lily Allen is going to stop having sex in a bid to concentrate on her music.

The singer, 23, reckons she'll be able to think more clearly if she's not worrying about men.

‘Sometimes it helps,’ says Lily. ‘It’s good to get out of your comfort zone and test yourself. I’m just going to see how it goes for a bit. I haven’t set a time limit or anything.’

Lily admits she panics when she can't think up new lyrics.

‘I've actually broken up with boyfriends for inspiration,’ she adds. ‘When I hit a period of not being able to write music, I get up and walk away. It's pretty mean but it's true.’
