Coleen Nolan signs record deal

Loose Women host to hit recording studio next week

Loose Women host Coleen Nolan started out in pop at the age of 15

Coleen Nolan is launching a solo music career.

The Loose Women host enjoyed huge success with The Nolans in the 1980s.

And now Coleen, 44, will go it alone after being signed up by Universal Records.

‘Coleen can't wait,’ a source tells the Sunday Mirror. ‘She is understandably nervous as it's been such a long time since she has sung professionally.

'She has never sung on her own. Her older sisters were always there but I'm sure she'll be a big success.’

Dancing On Ice star Coleen will go the studio next week and her first single, to be released later this year, will be an 80s cover.

A spokesman for Coleen confirms she has signed a deal.
