Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle covered her hair with a headscarf as she left the salon

Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle has coloured her barnet.

The singer's trademark grey hair has been dyed brown and cut into a shorter crop.

Susan, 48, spent £35 on the 90-minute makeover at the Miss Toner salon near her home in West Lothian.

Judge Amanda Holden, 38, previously admitted she didn’t want Susan to change her appearance.

But Britain’s Got Talent bosses deny they're upset about her new look.

‘Susan’s a grown woman and can do what she likes with her hair,’ a spokeswoman tells The Sun.

Meanwhile, Susan was mentioned in the latest episode of US cartoon South Park.
